Hello 2022-2023 Sixth Graders.

Welcome to the Middle School!  I am very excited you are in my Social Studies classroom. I have students in 1st-4th periods and Coach Bucher will have 6th and 7th periods.

Thursday 8/11th: 1st period tour campus. Take up supplies, introductions, make name cards, cover expectations and classroom procedures.

Friday 8/12th:

• Hand out Blog subscription. Due by August 19th.
• The students will create an All About Me poster. It is due by August 19th. A more in-depth explanation will be posted on Google classroom. The student will create a poster that reflects their uniqueness. Their name and a drawn picture/photo must be included. Three other items must be included. They can choose from: Hobbies, family members, places, things they enjoy, pets, favorites. They will be graded on creativity, content, color and form, drawing and labeling, correct spelling.

BLOG: I will hand out how for you to subscribe to: Mrs. Robinson’s Social Studies Classroom blog. Your child will receive his/her first daily grade for you subscribing. This blog will help you and your student know the weekly agenda, assignments, projects, tests and other weekly information. When you subscribe you will get updates to the email address that you assign to the link. Assignments will also be on each teacher’s Google Classroom.
